Privacy Policy
Introduction
We, the owner of chama.pro domain and developer of iperf3 Client application, take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application.
For privacy inquiries, you can contact us at: chamav@gmail.com
Data We Process
When using the iperf3 Client application, we may process the following categories of data:
- Diagnostic events: information about app performance, errors, and functionality
 - Advertising identifiers: GAID (Google Advertising ID), OAID (Open Advertising ID), IDFA (Apple ID for Advertisers)
 - Third-party SDK data: information collected by advertising and analytics SDKs
 - Device technical data: device model, OS version, app version
 - Test results: network test data (stored locally)

Important: In server mode, the application does not send data to third parties; network connections are initiated by external clients on the user-specified port.
Advertising and Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to serve ads in the app. As a consequence of using Google services, Google may collect and process certain data (e.g., the Google Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information) to deliver, measure and improve ads.
- How Google uses information from apps that use their services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
 - Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Consent and choices
For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we collect consent using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). If you do not give consent, we will show only non-personalized ads (NPA) or no ads, according to our UMP configuration.
For users in certain U.S. states, you can exercise your "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" right in the in-app privacy settings (via the UMP message). When you opt out, AdMob will limit data use accordingly.
You can also control ad personalization in your Google account (My Ad Center): https://safety.google/privacy/ads-and-data/
Withdraw or change consent (Privacy Options Form)
You can review and change your advertising choices at any time via the in-app Privacy Options Form. Open: Settings → Privacy → Manage Ads. The form will show your current choice (personalized / non‑personalized / opt‑out) and let you update it.

Purposes of Processing
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- Display relevant advertising to support the free app model
 - Analyze app usage for improvement
 - Diagnose technical issues and improve stability
 - Provide technical support to users
 - Comply with legal requirements

Legal Basis (for EEA)
For users in the European Economic Area, we rely on the following legal bases, depending on the processing activity:
- Personalized advertising: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Ads are personalized only after you grant consent via UMP.
 - Non‑personalized advertising: Shown when consent is not granted; limited processing necessary to deliver ads. You can continue using the app with only non‑personalized ads.
 - Aggregated analytics and service improvement: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), with data minimization and opt‑out options where available.
 - Crash/error diagnostics: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to maintain stability and security; no PII is included in reports.
 - Core app functionality: Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to provide requested features.
